Abiotic Recordings is pleased to present the 3rd in a series of 4 releases benefiting the Mercy Crops charity for the victims of the Tsunami Disaster in December 2004. All 16 artists donated their time and music to make this release come true. All profits made from these four releases will be donated to the charity. After the successes of the last 2 volumes, the A-side takes a more minimal approach while the flip features a tough break beat industrial influence. Brothers Yard (aka Peter Dundov) starts volume 3 off with a track that will be a must for the fans of his work output on Musicman & PV. Inigo Kennedy (Asymmetric, Missile) follows up with another minimal yet experimental track with innovative drum programming & strings & Synth lines that seems to come alive as they jump out of the vinyl. On the flip we have a track from Grovskopa that appears to be his most club orientated to date. Wicked breakbeat programming and raw industrial synths may remind of Surgeon back in the early Counterbalance days, but we can assure you that this track is in a class of it own! Luka Baumann completes the record with another offbeat monster, using huge string and pads and clever programming to create a masterpiece that could easily find its way onto both the dance floor or a soundtrack to somebody's nightmares.
