Founded in the Summer of 2009, Wax Poetics, halcyon, Raw Fusion, Great Weekend, and Fusicology present this monthly all-vinyl oasis with a dream team of resident romantics on 4th Saturdays, at the Gallery Bar at Le Poisson Rouge. The sounds are mind-wide, foot-friendly, and snap crackle popping. Anything is fair game, but you can expect to hear some Soul, Disco, Dilla, boogie, hustle, Hip-Hop, old-school House, No-Wave, New Jack Swing, dancefloor Jazz, Bossa Nova, Salsa, Funk, Electro, and Afrobeat. No pretentious bullshit, no dress code (not that you shouldn’t come sexy as hell), no commercial radio crap, and no laptops allowed.
